Polkadot is a network that connects various blockchains by helping to gather private and public blockchains in the WEB3 ecosystem. This network helps blockchain platforms exchange the info and transactions without obligations.
The Polkadot ecosystem has no miners and uses a proof-of-stake algorithm. As such, holders manage all exceptional events, such as updates and protocol fixes.
The project’s second ICO started in July 2020. In the first week of trading, the tokens’ value increased by 150%. But it didn’t last long; the price soon dropped to the original ICO offering price.
